Day 183… it’s getting harder to see the changes so here’s some comparatives

Hole 17

We are entering the final stages of this long journey. Think of what’s left to do being like having to iron out all the wrinkles of a thousand loads of laundry. I’m some cases that exactly what we have to do… smooth the surface. There’s also all the supplemental drainage that has to be installed, a few hundred trap rakes need to be assembled, ball washers installed, landscaping still needs to be installed, a parking lot has to be built, only one of the two new power transformers has been installed, all the power everywhere has to be connected, palms have to be trimmed, pine straw has to be laid out, cart paths edged, 1200 sprinklers edged, 450 drain basins cleaned off, and the list goes on and on and on and on

😉

Day 182…. The real one. Sorry about the repost.

These are pics of just the back 9. First day we are cutting the new fairway contours, so they’re not super sexy yet. If you look close, starting to look like a golf course though.

10 tee. Starting to mow what we call no man’s land between 10 tee – 13 grn – 18 grn – 14 tee
