A view from the rough… 100 day war has started.

I’ve been using the term “100 day war” for my summer maintenance season for a long time… nearly two decades. The 100 days comes from starting summer maintenance in early June and we usually wrap up all the major rip’n and tear’n late August / early September. Might not be exactly 100 days, but 100 day war sorta sounds cool! Way better than 93 day war, or 107 day war.

As always, the aim of the blog is to peel back the curtain a little and let everyone get some perspective of what goes on in my world to make a great course during the golfing season. Some of it pokes fun at myself, but most of it is is just informative.

To start off aerification season, enjoy my 100 Day War intro. More to come later on this season’s summer agronomic progress.
