A view from the storage rough …

The various components of the new irrigation system going in the new golf course next summer have already begun showing up.
We will store all these components on site as they become available to make sure that we have no supply chain issues when it is go time for installation
These are mainline valves (they’re just upside down in the crate). Normally you would order these about six weeks out and have them in no time. These took four months to get here. That’s why I ordered them a year in advance.

Next week we have seven semi-truck loads of pipe getting delivered. Not exactly sure where we’re going to put it all, but the inconvenience of figuring that out is far outweighed by the inconvenience of stopping the construction project due to supply chain issues next summer. The plan is to have the entire irrigation system stored on site when the project starts so there are no delays getting components.

I had a meeting with the company that we bought the irrigation system from and they said we were very smart to order our irrigation system in February and lock in the pricing because they’re anticipating the cost going up another 25 to 30% because everything about it is petroleum based.
