Found this after removing the dead sod. Any idea what this spot is from? Answer at the end of the blog…
Cut down the Areca palms around the old pumping station to open up the view. What a difference!

The answer to the trivia question in the beginning is the white spot is where an old sprinkler head we just took out was. It is white because we already took off the organic s in the soil when we dug up the head.
