Greens have been aerified and cleaned off. The goal is to manage all the organics, so we have to remove all the cores. There’s a lot to pick up. Tonight we will run a heavy irrigation cycle on the greens in order to open up all of the aerification holes so we can get soil amendments and sand in them tomorrow.Lowered the height of the fairways, tees and approaches and circle cut them to tighten up the canopy. Current height of cut is slightly above 3/16 of an inch. The result of the circle cut is pretty spectacular. Vertical-cut the new sod on the clubhouse lawn and lowered height of cut to same as fairways. This area will be mowed very tight to accent the space adjacent to the clubhouse.
